The NanoTube was built to simplify the analysis of NanoString nCounter gene expression data. It is available in three forms:
The R Library is available on Bioconductor, and includes standard methods for data processing, quality control, normalization, analysis, and visualization of nCounter data. Additional functions are provided to allow interoperability with other NanoString packages. A tutorial can be found here.
The web application is currently available on GitHub, and can be downloaded and run on RStudio, or on a Shiny server.
The web app is now online! You can try running it using the example data files on the GitHub link above, or download a NanoString data set from GEO.
All three versions of the NanoTube are provided with the GPL-3 license.
